Community Events

A big thank you to Jeff for making it out today, I'm glad we were able to get this together on short notice. In total, we raised $471 and put a lot of brochures in hands, so hopefully we see a few more people next week at Hack Night.

I just got word that KMS has an opening for their hot dog sale where we sell hot dogs for donations to the Space, on Friday June 4th. I know its a Friday, it would be from about 10am to 2pm, which is not ideal for most people. KMS provides the tent, the tables, the dogs, the buns, and the BBQ, we just need to be there with at least one person who has FoodSafe Level 1. This will take place during a Milwaukee Days event, so it may be busier than a regular Friday.

This event, depending on the day, has been about to fundraise $200 to $600 for the Makerspace in the past, I might see about bringing my lathe and trying to do pens or something as another revenue source.
