Underneath the planter outside, I've tried to arrange all of my larger wood scrap into slightly neater piles. This is all hardwood, black locust, red oak, and London plane. I think this area can be used to keep large enough, solid wood chunks that anyone can take for fire wood. Its still wet, but it will be baking in the sun all day. No metal, finished, painted, plywood, or pressure-treated material, just solid waste. And, I want to try and keep the pile neat, as it isn't just garbage to be taken to the dump. But of you ever have some chunk big enough, maybe stash it there for someone's next bonfire.
