Needed a little extension on my van kitchen counter to put my laptop for studying and gaming. I've always wanted to laser engrave a schematic so figured it was a perfect opportunity!
A little brainstorming with Andrew on good settings and voila, worked like a charm! It's the schematic for a golf cart, only chosen because it was an easy free SVG file to snag. Ran the trace conversion in light burn which worked incredibly. The piece is a cheap 1x4 from home depot glued up roughly 16" x 26" and took 12 minutes to engrave.
