Sharpening Station
Author Last Post

As I was recently working on a project that requited sharp chisels and planer blades I have set up a sharpening station beside the bench grinder. I have loaned my 4000/10000 grit stone and an 300/1000 grid diamond stone to the space. The 300 grit is useful for dressing the other stones. Please ensure my whetstone stays flat please.

Here are some great videos about sharpening and taking care of this equipment.

I have also left Hone-Rite concentrate and a spray bottle of it. Please do not use just water as it will rust the diamond stone. Also make sure not to waste the Hone-Rite as it is quite expensive. Please leave the 10000 grit whetstone in the container of Hone-Rite as it like a sponge otherwise.

I have also left a dulled olfa blade for using in the ruler technique described in the video. Please do not throw it out.
